A visit to the Zoo, March 1st, 2012
It was a beautiful morning when we went by bus with all the deaf students and staff members to the Zoo in Dehiwala. As we were early, it was luckily not yet crowded. This Zoo is beautiful located in a huge park full of nice resting places and a big play ground for the children. We followed the zoo guide map and came first by the fishes, the monkeys, lions, tigers etc. By seeing the snakes everyone was afraid, special by the anacondas. At the children’s corner’s play ground there were some interesting things for all ages, even climbing trees! There were enough seats available to have the lunch in this corner. In the afternoon we went to see the dolphin show. It was a great day full of joy and new experiences.
