The new Dutch Ambassador in Colombo, His Excellency Drs. L. Piet visited the Dr. Reijntjes School for the Deaf in Moratuwa on November 30th, 2011.

It was the first visit of the Dutch Ambassador H.E. Drs. Piet and his wife Dyonne to the Dr. Reijntjes School for the Deaf in Moratuwa.
It was an informal visit, which made it very special. The couple was very much interested in the education and other activities of the deaf pupils of the School. Also the Sri Lankan Sign Language of the children got special attention.
They were spending a considerable time to see all the class rooms and to communicate with the deaf children.
H.E. Drs. L.Piet is the new Patron of the Dr. Reijntjes School for the Deaf.
