Prize Giving Day in Colombo, May 8th, 2011

On Sunday, May 8th we went with a group of our pupils to Colombo for the Prize Giving Day.
We participated in a Drawing and Essay Writing Contest between different Deaf Schools in Sri Lanka.
Three of our pupils were winning a prize with essay writing. Ushan got a first prize and Thilani and Prathiba got both a second prize. The Minister of Social Services was the Chief Guest and handed over the prizes. See pictures.

Mr. Chandratilleka is one of the Trust Members of the Dr. Reijntjes School for the Deaf Trust.
They enjoyed very much to be with our deaf children and to see them enjoying the tasty lunch. See pictures.
