We celebrated our 27th School Anniversary with a Musical Concert in Colombo on 2-02-2011.

On February 2nd we celebrated our 27th School Anniversary. That day we were invited with our deaf pupils by the Rotaract Club of Colombo for a Musical Show. Present were also handicapped children from different homes.
With two busses we went to Colombo to the Lionel Wendt Theatre. The children were excited and very happy.
Because of the stormy rainy weather of the last weeks, 15 children could not participate because they were ill. We felt very sorry for them.
It was a wonderful afternoon with a famous Music Band and Singers. The children were invited to dance. Even our new very young pupils were among the dancing children.
They were looked after well with a drink, short eats and presents. Very happy the children came back to the Dr. Reijntjes School for the Deaf in Moratuwa.
