The Birth Day Party of Tineke de Silva, March 5th, 2013.

It was a very nice day. The pupils and the staff members had worked hard to decorate the school with balloons and serpentines.
In that beautiful surrounding we were lighting the oil lamp and cutting the cake, which was made by the pupils with teacher Mala.
After that we had a nice surprise: we went with everyone to the Cinema to see the historical film “Prince Siddhartha”, with Sri Lankan and Indian film stars.
This film about the life of the Buddha is made in Sri Lanka.
For most of the deaf children it was their first visit to the Cinema. They were very enthusiast!
